Friday Night Movie's #1 Amazing Spiderman

 The Amazing Spider Man Review
This was round four for our beloved Peter Parker in an attempt to produce a film worthy of this beloved superhero. Some would say this was too early of a reboot for the Spider Man franchise, but after the disappointment of the last three installments this movie could not have come fast enough. First of all, Marvel Studios did a fantastic job on the cast selection; Andrew Garfield was extremely captivating. He  proved to be a great choice for portraying our web-spinning science geek. He really seemed like he cared about the role, displaying a Spider Man who was emotional, but not in a sad depressed kind of way like Tobey Maguire who seemed like he was taping an episode of What I Like About . It would have been nice to see a little more of the signature Spider man sarcasm and cockiness, though. Additionally, the Lizard stood out to me as an incredible enemy, especially when you consider how many other movie villains are currently vying to grasp the audience's attention in modern cinema. He seemed next to unstoppable throughout the duration of the movie. The Amazing Spider Man was thrilling and intense. The plot was awesome and showed a more realistic display of Peter Parker obtaining his powers and adapting to them. In conclusion, this movie was visually stunning; the action scenes looked and felt intense. I did not have the pleasure of seeing it in 3D, but wish i would have. So the Amazing Spider man gets an 8 out 10. It's not perfect, but overall it is still a great movie well worth your time and money. Now as for Marvel Studios: you have eliminated 1/3 of the mental scarring from the last three films, so lets make two more to ease the pain we got from watching that sad puppy: Tobey.
